Research Interests

We are a new group of the Jack H. Skirball Center for Chemical Biology and Proteomic at the Salk Institute. This recently founded center occupies the 2nd floor of the South wing of the East building, and is equipped with brand-new facilities for chemistry and biology studies. Our group combines chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and fluorescence techniques to develop new strategies for molecular evolution and molecular imaging. These new methods will enable us to manipulate molecules in cells for understanding cellular function and generating novel biological activities.
